    Description

    Boost the power of your Talaria  MX3 / MX4 with the TC500 controller.

    The new  generation TC500 2.X controller comes with integrated launch and lift assist hardware enabling advanced stability control for perfect wheelies and enhanced riding dynamics (Available via App update by Mid-February 2026), while automotive-standard throttle support and over-current protectionsafeguard performance. Next-generation components keep it resilient and reliable ride after ride.

     

    The max power with the stock battery on Talaria MX4 is 11,5 kW and with MX3 is 8 kW.
    Compatible with the stock Talaria and aftermarket (60 V , 72 V and 80V) batteries. Easy to install and even easier to adjust according to your preferences using the Torp App!

    With Torp controllers, all stock Talaria features will be preserved (stock Talaria Display, kick-stand sensor, crash sensor, power mode button, and brake switch) except for the start button.

    *While Torp controllers are rated IP67, making them highly water-resistant, the wiring harnesses for both the controller and bike are not waterproof. In case your bike is exposed to water in any way, it is mandatory to apply dielectric grease inside all connectors. The warranty does not cover malfunction or damage arising from the use of the motor controllers in activities where frequent or extended submersion in water is expected, such as riding in streams, rivers, or flooded areas. Over time, seals and components may degrade, reducing the water-resistant effectiveness of the product. Damage resulting from this natural wear and tear is not covered by the 2-year warranty.

    TORP FAQS

    I already have a different brand of controller, can I still use a torp motor?

    Yes - in this case when choosing a motor select the HALL SENSOR variant. This will allow your motor to work with other brand of controller such as EBMX.

    Can you fit and tune my Torp products?

    Yes - we can fit your controller or motor in store in our workshop.

    Please be aware that there is a labour fee for fitting and tuning of all controllers.

    Can I use a torp display with a standard controller?

    No - the Torp egg rider and full colour displays are only compatible with Torp controllers.

    I'm having issues setting up my controller?

    Please view the TORP help centre here for help setting up your controller.

    Is the TC500 discontinued?

    At the moment the TC500 is not discontinued, however Torp are more focused on the TC1000 .

    When compared to the TC500, the TC1000 controller packs 100% more power in just 30% extra space. Therefore you can get more from your controller without a huge price increase.

    Despite this, we are continuously trying to source more TC500 controllers for our customers.
