Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
At Go Off Road Ltd, we aim to provide a reliable, efficient and transparent delivery service for all our customers.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process, dispatch and deliver orders, including motorcycles, electric bikes, parts, accessories and riding equipment.
1. Delivery Locations
We offer delivery services across England, Scotland and Wales.
We do not currently offer delivery to Ireland.
Customers requiring delivery to Northern Ireland should contact us before ordering to confirm availability.
Delivery availability, timescales and charges may vary depending on your location, the size and weight of the product, and the delivery method required.
Certain remote locations, including parts of Scotland, may require additional delivery time or specialised arrangements.
Any applicable delivery charges will be communicated before the customer completes their purchase.
2. Order Processing and Dispatch Times
We aim to process and dispatch orders as efficiently as possible.
Parts, Accessories and Riding Equipment
-
Orders for in-stock parts, accessories and riding equipment are normally dispatched within 1 working day (24 working hours).
-
Orders placed during weekends or UK bank holidays will normally be processed on the next working day.
-
Dispatch may take longer for special-order items or products awaiting stock. We will communicate significant delays.
Motorcycles, Electric Bikes and Off-Road Bikes
-
In-stock motorcycles and bikes are normally dispatched within 2–3 working days.
-
Certain bikes require assembly, preparation, inspection or pre-delivery checks by our workshop technicians.
-
Delivery scheduling will depend on the destination and availability of our delivery team.
Please note that dispatch time refers to when an order leaves our premises. It does not include delivery transit time.
3. Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times depend on the product, destination and delivery method.
Parts and Accessories
Smaller items are normally delivered through established courier services.
Estimated delivery dates or delivery ranges will be provided during checkout or in the order confirmation where applicable.
Motorcycles and Larger Products
Motorcycles, assembled electric bikes and larger products may require specialist delivery using our own delivery vehicles or an approved third-party transport provider.
Delivery times vary by location, particularly for destinations across England, Scotland and remote areas.
Once the bike has been prepared and delivery arrangements have been made, our team will contact you to confirm the expected delivery date and, where possible, an estimated delivery window.
Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, we will make reasonable efforts to meet that date.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you, we will deliver goods without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being made, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
If a delivery is delayed, we will contact you with updated information. Your statutory rights regarding late or failed delivery remain unaffected.
4. Shipping and Delivery Charges
Delivery charges depend on factors including:
-
Product size and weight.
-
Delivery postcode and location.
-
Standard courier or specialist vehicle delivery.
-
Additional transport requirements for larger products.
Applicable charges will be displayed at checkout or communicated and agreed before the purchase is completed.
For bikes requiring specialist delivery arrangements, our team may contact you to confirm the available delivery options and applicable charges before finalising the order.
We will not impose undisclosed mandatory delivery charges after an order has been placed.
5. Motorcycle and Bike Delivery
Motorcycles and assembled bikes may be delivered by our own driver or an approved third-party delivery service.
To ensure safe and secure delivery:
-
Customers must provide an accurate delivery address and contact telephone number.
-
Someone authorised to accept the delivery must be available at the agreed delivery location.
-
We may request appropriate identification or proof of address to verify the recipient, particularly for high-value purchases or finance orders.
-
Any recipient-verification requirements will be communicated before delivery.
-
Customers should inspect the external condition of their delivered products and notify us promptly about any apparent damage or discrepancy.
If you need to change your delivery arrangements, contact us as soon as possible.
Address changes may require additional verification or a revised delivery schedule.
6. Tracking Your Order
Courier Deliveries
For parts, accessories and smaller orders, tracking details will normally be provided by email once the order has been dispatched, where the courier offers tracking.
Customers can use the tracking information to follow their delivery.
Bike and Specialist Deliveries
Live parcel-style tracking may not be available for motorcycles or larger products delivered using our own vehicles or specialist transport.
Where applicable, our team will provide an agreed delivery date and an estimated arrival window.
For delivery enquiries, please contact our customer support team.
7. Missed Deliveries and Redelivery Charges
We ask customers to ensure that someone is available to receive their order at the agreed delivery time.
Motorcycle and Van Deliveries
Where a delivery has been arranged and confirmed with the customer, additional redelivery costs may apply if:
-
Nobody is available at the agreed delivery location.
-
The customer fails to provide required delivery access.
-
The delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information supplied by the customer.
-
The customer fails to meet a previously communicated and reasonable delivery-verification requirement.
Where legally permitted, any redelivery charge will be reasonable and reflect the additional delivery costs incurred.
Applicable charges, or the basis on which they are calculated, must be clearly disclosed before purchase. We will confirm any relevant charge before arranging a further delivery attempt.
No additional redelivery charge will apply where delivery failure is caused by an error on our part or where imposing such a charge would conflict with applicable consumer rights.
Standard Courier Deliveries
If a parcel cannot be delivered, the courier may arrange another delivery attempt, offer collection options or return the parcel to us.
Where a further delivery charge is applicable and legally permitted, we will explain the charge before arranging redelivery.
8. Incorrect Delivery Details
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information when placing an order.
If you notice an error in your delivery address, please contact us immediately at support@go-off-roadbarnsley.co.uk.
We will try to amend delivery information before dispatch.
Once an order has been dispatched, address changes may not always be possible and may require further verification.
Any additional charges must be reasonable, properly disclosed and consistent with applicable consumer law.
9. Out-of-Stock Products
We aim to maintain accurate stock availability across our online store and showroom.
Occasionally, an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed.
If this happens, we will contact you and offer an appropriate resolution, which may include:
-
Waiting for the product to become available, where you agree.
-
Choosing an alternative product, where available.
-
Receiving a refund for the unavailable product.
We will not substitute a different product without your agreement.
Refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.
10. Delayed, Lost or Damaged Deliveries
Although we work with reliable delivery providers, occasional delays or transport issues may occur.
If your delivery is delayed, missing or arrives damaged, please contact us promptly.
We will investigate the matter with the relevant delivery provider and arrange an appropriate resolution.
For deliveries arranged by Go Off Road, we remain responsible for the goods until they come into your physical possession or that of a person you have nominated to receive them, subject to applicable statutory exceptions.
Nothing in this policy removes your rights to a remedy for products that are damaged, faulty or not as described.
11. Order Cancellations and Returns
Customers may have the right to cancel eligible online purchases within 14 days after receiving their goods, in accordance with UK consumer protection law.
For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for direct return postage costs where this has been appropriately disclosed and is legally permitted.
Where products are faulty, damaged or not as described, we will comply with applicable UK consumer law.
