Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Go Off Road.

This website, https://go-off-roadbarnsley.co.uk/, is operated by Go Off Road Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14185869.

These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and purchases of motorcycles, electric bikes, off-road vehicles, parts, accessories, riding equipment and related services.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, subject to your statutory consumer rights.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts any rights you have under applicable UK consumer protection law.

2. Business Information

3. Products and Availability

We sell new and used motorcycles, electric bikes, off-road bikes, parts, accessories and related products.

We aim to ensure that all product descriptions, prices, specifications, photographs and availability information are accurate.

Product images may be illustrative. Certain specifications, colours or equipment may vary depending on the manufacturer or model.

Where a product is unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to discuss the available options, including a refund or an alternative product where you agree.

Any substitution will require your agreement.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement confirming that your order has been received.

An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

A contract is formed when we expressly accept your order, normally through an order confirmation or notification of dispatch, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

We may decline an order for a legitimate reason, including unavailability, an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud or inability to fulfil the order.

If we cannot accept an order for which payment has been taken, we will arrange an appropriate refund.

We will not cancel or change a confirmed order arbitrarily or in a manner that conflicts with applicable consumer law.

5. Prices and Payments

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP).

Applicable VAT is included in consumer-facing prices unless clearly stated otherwise.

Delivery charges and any additional mandatory charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.

We accept the payment methods made available at checkout.

Payments are processed through our supported payment providers.

Orders may be subject to appropriate payment and fraud-prevention checks.

We will not charge undisclosed mandatory fees after checkout.

6. Finance Options

Go Off Road Ltd acts as a credit broker, not a lender, in relation to finance options offered through third-party providers.

Subject to availability and eligibility, finance options may be available through:

  • Snap Finance

  • Santander Finance

  • Zopa

  • Klarna

  • First Response Finance

Finance applications are subject to the relevant provider's eligibility, creditworthiness and affordability assessments.

Approval is not guaranteed.

Applicable interest rates, repayment terms, total payable amounts and other relevant finance information will be provided before you enter into a finance agreement.

The finance agreement will be governed by the terms of the relevant finance provider.

Customers should carefully review all finance documentation before accepting an offer.

Borrowing money involves financial commitments. Missed payments may have consequences for your credit record and financial circumstances.

For finance enquiries, please contact our team.

7. Delivery and Shipping

We currently arrange deliveries to eligible addresses in England, Scotland and Wales.

We do not offer delivery to Ireland. Delivery to Northern Ireland must be confirmed separately before ordering.

For in-stock products, our normal dispatch targets are:

  • Bikes and motorcycles: 2–3 working days.

  • Parts and accessories: within 1 working day.

These are dispatch targets, not guaranteed delivery dates.

Delivery times depend on the product, courier, destination and any necessary bike preparation.

Applicable delivery charges and estimated delivery arrangements will be provided before purchase.

For specialist bike deliveries, a representative may contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date.

Reasonable redelivery charges may apply to missed agreed van deliveries where the charge has been properly disclosed and is legally permitted.

Further information is available in our Shipping Policy:

8. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

For most eligible online purchases, consumers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 calendar days after receiving their goods.

After notifying us of cancellation, customers generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for direct return costs where properly disclosed and legally permitted.

Faulty, damaged and misdescribed products are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Helmets are subject to safety-related handling conditions, but statutory cancellation and faulty-goods rights remain applicable unless a specific lawful exception applies.

Please read our full Return & Refund Policy:

https://go-off-roadbarnsley.co.uk/pages/return-policy

9. Warranties and Repairs

New products may include a manufacturer's or supplier's warranty.

The applicable warranty period and coverage depend on the product and manufacturer.

Used motorcycles may carry a limited additional commercial warranty, as described in our Warranty Policy.

We offer workshop support and an optional bike collection service.

Where applicable, the optional collection and return service is charged at £75 each way, subject to prior agreement.

No optional collection fee or warranty condition removes a customer's entitlement to remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

For full details, visit:

10. Vehicle Use and Safety

Customers are responsible for ensuring that motorcycles, electric bikes and off-road vehicles are operated safely and lawfully.

Some products sold by Go Off Road are intended exclusively for off-road use.

Unless a product is expressly identified as road legal and satisfies applicable legal requirements, it must not be assumed suitable or authorised for public-road use.

Customers must comply with applicable laws concerning:

  • Vehicle registration and insurance.

  • Driving licences and minimum riding ages.

  • Roadworthiness and equipment.

  • Protective clothing and helmets.

  • Off-road riding permissions and land access.

  • Safe operation, maintenance and manufacturer instructions.

Customers should ensure that any rider is appropriately trained and supervised where necessary.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Product Modifications and Third-Party Repairs

Customers should follow manufacturer instructions concerning servicing, modifications and repairs.

Certain modifications may affect vehicle safety, road legality or the applicability of specific manufacturer warranty terms.

A manufacturer or supplier may decline warranty coverage for damage caused by an unauthorised modification, misuse or unsuitable repair where permitted by law.

However, third-party repairs or modifications do not automatically remove statutory consumer rights for unrelated faults.

12. Website Information and Intellectual Property

Website content, product descriptions, photographs, logos, graphics and other materials may be protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property rights.

Customers may browse and use the website for legitimate personal shopping purposes.

Website content must not be reproduced or commercially exploited without appropriate permission, except as permitted by law.

We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate and current.

If you believe information is incorrect, please contact us.

13. Acceptable Website Use

You must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

  • Distribute malware or harmful code.

  • Interfere with the security or operation of the website.

  • Misuse another person's identity or payment information.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers and website security.

14. Third-Party Services

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

We may also use third-party payment, finance, delivery and other service providers.

Those providers may operate under their own terms and conditions, which will apply to the services they independently provide.

Where Go Off Road is the seller of goods, the use of a third-party provider does not remove our statutory obligations to customers.

15. Privacy and Personal Information

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

Please visit:

https://go-off-roadbarnsley.co.uk/pages/privacy-policy

16. Liability and Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence.

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Breach of consumer rights where liability cannot legally be excluded.

  • Any other matter for which exclusion or limitation of liability is prohibited by law.

Where permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control or by customer misuse of a product.

Any limitation of liability must be reasonable, lawful and consistent with applicable consumer protection legislation.

17. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you experience a problem with an order, product, delivery or service, please contact us.

We will investigate complaints and aim to resolve them fairly.

For more information, please visit:

https://go-off-roadbarnsley.co.uk/pages/complains-policy

Customers retain their rights to pursue complaints through applicable regulatory, alternative dispute resolution or legal processes.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in our business, services or legal obligations.

The latest version will be published on our website.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or alter existing purchase contracts without a lawful basis or the customer's agreement where required.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in the customer's place of residence.

Customers may bring proceedings in courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
