Sur Ron Battery 81v 22s 4070Wh Trojan 9c High RPM Samsung 50S Really rocks, because an electric motor spins so many times per volts. Then add more volts and you get more spins (RPM) and more top speed. But here is the geeky and cool bit (literally): Amps create heat so the less amps you use, the cooler stuff runs. Heat kills electrical components as the heat literally melts soldered contacts internally, insulation burns off and glues melt.

Sur Ron Battery 81v 22s 4070Wh Trojan High RPM Samsung 50S is capable of peak 32kW power ( peak discharge for 51 seconds until cut off on mosfet temp protection).
18kW continuous at 250A discharge runs for 4 minutes and 16 second continuous load until cut off on mosfet temp protection.

Cells
There are 220 cells in this battery and all have internal resistance. The more resistance, the more heat they produce, until they start to damage. So with this low resistance, they are able to supply enormous amounts of power without over heating.

Exoskeleton /Casing
We have upgraded the casing to marine grade 316 stainless steel, so absolutely no rust issues here! Super tough and powder coated inside and out.
Connectors
The main Sur Ron battery to controller and battery to bike connectors we use are a QS8 on a heavy duty 6 AWG cable. This allows higher power flow and less resistance than a standard cable and connector. We supply a free upgraded high power loom with the battery.
Domestic Electrics
This means all your bike accessories are still powered. Some believe that not using the circuit breaker direct to the controller removes the safety of the circuit breaker. However, all our batteries have a full working BMS. Any power shorts or irregular current and the BMS shuts down. This is much more sensitive and accurate than a mechanical breaker (you may note, for example that the Sur Ron Ultra Bee does not use a circuit breaker and relies on the BMS alone).
Fitting
Fit the high power cable we provide to directly replace the OEM cable that came with the bike. We supply the battery lid spacer and aluminium hinges.

Connecting To Bike
When connecting the battery to the bike and to avoid a spark, turn the red trip switch on the bike to off. Connect the older original power cable and then turn the red trip to on. Then connect the new power leads. Removing the battery has no special order.
Battery Charging
First time charging is VERY important. Always connect the charger to the battery with the charger powered up at the mains first. This will stop a “Connection Spark”. Always charge your battery in a safe place and never unsupervised.
