If the reading is below this range, consider replacing the coil unit. \n \n2. **Spark Connection Continuity: (Spark Connection Continuity)** \n- Set your multimeter to 20KΩ. \n- Touch one test probe to the live (green) terminal and the other to the metal spark plug connection inside the spark plug cap. \n- A reading below 10K ohms indicates a functioning coil. If the reading is above this range, assume the unit is not functioning correctly. \n \nBefore replacing the entire unit, ensure the cable is correctly screwed into both the spark plug cap and the ignition coil unit: \n \n1. Unscrew the lead at both ends by turning it anticlockwise. \n2. Inspect the cable ends and ensure the internal copper core is making good contact with the screws. If not, trim 10mm from each end with wire cutters. \n3.
